Lindsey Long is honored to serve as principal of Whitesburg Elementary School.  Previously, Mrs. Long was the assistant principal at Central Elementary. Before entering administration, Mrs. Long taught regular and special education for eight years.  Mrs. Long served as an in-school coordinator of special education at Central Elementary. She received her bachelor's, master's, and specialist degrees in Early Childhood Educational and her Educational Leadership Degree from the University of West Georgia. Mrs. Long is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in School Improvement.

Mrs. Long is married to BJ Long, a Work-Based Learning Coordinator for the Villa Rica Cluster.  They have three children, Jack Long, a 6th grader at Central Middle School, and Caroline and Sara Beth, 4th graders at Whitesburg Elementary.
