Betsy Jarrett received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from LaGrange College in 1987, and in 1992 received her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Georgia.

This is her ninth year as the counselor at Whitesburg Elementary, and her 27th year as a counselor in the Carroll County School System.  Before coming to Whitesburg, she served as the counselor for Roopville Elementary for 24 years.

Ms. Jarrett thoroughly enjoys working with her students every day, and can’t imagine a job more rewarding than touching the life of a child!

When not working, Ms. Jarrett enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, working in her yard, and attending church activities.
